Seems I was to quick too judge on Gibson's Costa Rica deal. Seems he and Panama's president have been meeting lately to discuss movie matters.

As usual, the Australian Mel Gibson is again in Panama and this time met with the highest authorities of our country, among them president Martín Torrijos, that received on Wednesday in the presidential palace.
This recognized actor is in our country in company of high executives of Icon Productions and other producing houses of Hollywood, to consider projects in Panama, already that our country contains very many visual wealth, as he has called the attention of Mel Gibson and its partners.

Como ya es costumbre, el australiano Mel Gibson nuevamente está en Panamá y esta vez se reunió con las más altas autoridades de nuestro país, entre ellas el presidente Martín Torrijos, quien lo recibió el día miércoles en el Palacio de las Garzas.  Este reconocido actor se encuentra en nuestro país en compañía de altos ejecutivos de Icon Productions y de otras casas productoras de Hollywood, para considerar proyectos en Panamá, ya que nuestro país contiene muchísima riqueza visual, la cual ha llamado la atención de Mel Gibson y sus socios.
