Large Wood shop in Boquete for sale or rent

Dsc01355 If you are looking for a small business in Panama this may be just right for you. This is our wood shop that we use to build all of the beautiful doors and cabinets here in Valle Escondido. For 7 years we have kept this operation humming, building for our needs in our project. As we are nearing the end of our build process we will no longer need the wood shop. There is great demand locally for woodwork here in Boquete as we get calls almost daily asking if we can build kitchens, bathrooms and doors for the many homes under construction in the area.  Why don't we shift to this market? Because we do not have the management capacity to handle it and I have no desire to watch over another business. When we built for ourselves we did not have to quote and monitor the details of each job. This kind of business requires a hands-on owner who watches the business like a baby. If he did this he could be very successful. If we had charged for the work in our project the volume produced was well over $700k a year.Dsc01359

Not only do we have a fantastic location on the main road leading into Boquete, but it is one of the largest buildings in the area at over 6000 square feet. The front of the building is a finished showroom and there is a metal working shop on the back where we made all of our lamps and railings. All of the equipment is heavy duty European made and will last for decades of heavy use.

The 12 craftsmen who have been working there for years could be hired if you desired.

New construction is going on both sides of the building. An office building and a new Super 99 grocery store.

Health Care Investment Opportunity in Panama

For those of you who are not familiar with my development, Valle Escondido, it is a master planned community located in the small village of Boquete in the mountains of western Panama.

Today, Valle Escondido has 176 residences made up of single family homes, duplexes and condominiums and a resort complex with 40 rooms, bungalows and suites.  The development is spread over a 40 hectare area (approximately 100 acres) and includes a 9-hole golf course, two restaurants, private members club, indoor swimming pool, men and women’s sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room, spa and state-of-the-art workout facility with a racquet ball court.

Currently, Valle Escondido is 85% completed so, essentially, the development is done.

Need a Sales or Project Manager?

Ron Bruce Recently Retired from the Position of CEO at Affinity Marketing.

Ron is a pioneer in the Satellite TV Industry.  He was VP of Sales and Marketing for National Satellite Communications (NSC) from the early 1980’s to 1989.  Throughout that period, Ron helped NSC grow into one of the largest national and international distributors of integrated satellite TV systems, and related parts in the U.S.  He was also general contractor on the SUNYSAT project for the State University of New York.  This major, competitively won contract was completed on time and on budget under Ron’s leadership.  He received a national recognition award from the ETA for creating QSP, a reward-based “Quality Service Program” for Retailers.

130 hectare parcel available
