Hotel Escondido nears completion

Just in time delivery takes on new meaning with the construction of our new Hotel Escondido here in the resort. Started just 6 months ago, we will be finished and ready for guests in just 10 more days. This was a must complete time line as we decided early on to book the hotel for guests on the main holiday weekend at the end of November. The hotel has 19 spacious rooms beautifully furnished and decorated by my wife Thalia. We have constructed three wading pools in the center of the hotel, each cascading into the next, very similar as our ponds in the park. Instead of fish and gardens, this park will have wonderful patios and children playing in the pools. We will be having a grand opening party next month where all our residents and guests will be invited.

This photo album has some great shots of the number of workers who are on the job site. It is amazing to see the many diciplines these workers have been able to employ on this project. Larry Urness, our project manage, has spent the last year training these men who will now go on to build the condominiums we have slated for construction in 2007. With the over 100 skilled men we should be able to build next years homes in record time.
