Boquete has a new pet store

Yesterday afternoon I made a trip to the local pharmacy on the same street you turn on to Boquete Bistro and found a store I had not seen before. It is a pet store with everything you could need in the way of supplies and medication for your pets. For many of you this may seem trivial, but for Thalia and I it is a obvious sign of the effects foreigners are having on Boquete. When we came here ten years ago you would see wondering packs of dogs scrapping out an existence. We saw few signs that people had pets beyond guard dogs. Now we have a store dedicated to them. A sure sign of the times! Now I have to go back today and try and trade some of my younger sons many pets for a Cockateal he saw there.
